With Photo Studio you can edit photos by applying dozens of various filters and effects; decorate your photos with frames, stickers, PIP effects and other decorative resources; create photo collages, save and share the result easily in no time. You naturally share some information with us while using the application. With this document we want you to understand what information we collect, how we use, transfer, and store your information. Information We Collect and How It Is Used Information We Get When You Use Our Services Camera and Photos Information Our application requires access to images and other information from your device camera and photos. We need this access to take photos and select photos for editing and other features. We can access your camera and photos only after you give us the required permission. When you use features that require photo processing, the selected photos may be processed locally on your device or, where necessary to provide a particular feature, securely transmitted to our servers for processing. We use such photos only as necessary to provide the functionality requested by you. AI-Powered Features and Photo Processing Some features of Photo Studio may use artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning technologies to process your photos and generate the result requested by you. When you use an AI-powered feature, the photo you select for processing may be securely transmitted to our servers so that the relevant AI model can automatically process the image. The processed result is then securely returned to your device. The processing of your photos by AI-powered features is automated. Our team does not manually view or review users' photos as part of the AI processing process. Your photos are processed only to provide the AI-powered feature you have requested. We do not use photos submitted to AI-powered features for personal profiling, personal identification, advertising profiles, or other unrelated purposes. We do not use your photos or AI-generated results to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models or to create AI training datasets. Photos submitted for AI processing are not retained longer than necessary to provide the requested functionality, except where temporary storage may be technically necessary for processing, security, troubleshooting, or service operation. Usage Information We collect information about your activity within our application. For example, we may collect information about filters or effects which you apply to photos, which features you use more often, and which add-ons you install. We need this specific information for statistics which helps us to understand your needs better and which leads to better improvements of the application. Knowing this information also gives us clues which help us to fix possible malfunctions in the application. Information About Applications Installed on Your Device We get information about KVADGroup applications, including Camera+, Posters, Veffex, and Lymmo, installed on your device in order to implement integration of these applications with Photo Studio. We may also collect information about social networking applications installed on your device to make possible easy sharing of edited photos into one of these applications. Device Information We collect information about the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, language, and wireless network. We collect this information for general statistics which helps us to improve development and target orientation to users of different groups. Personal Information Information you provide us when you contact us for help or with your feedback. When you use our email support services, we collect your correspondence in order to build up a public knowledge base, which can be used to communicate with you, to assist with our product, or to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions. Transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, download, or use applications from us. The information described above is collected mainly for research and statistics purposes and for the internal use of the KVADGroup Team. Automatically Collected Information We may use GPS technology or other similar technology to determine your current location in order to set tags and display a location map with relevant advertisements. We may also store some information locally on your device. For example, we may store information as local cache so that you can open the app and view content faster. Cache saving properties can be changed in application settings. Information We Do Not Collect and Do Not Share Except as specifically described in this Privacy Policy, we do not collect or share the following information: - Photo metadata, including when, how, where, and by which device the photo was created. - Device phonebook. - Information from and/or for social networking platforms, such as contact information, friends lists, login information, photos, or check-ins. - We do not share your current location with other users, partners, or any other persons. - We do not use photos submitted to AI-powered features for AI model training, fine-tuning, or creation of AI training datasets. - We do not use your photos for personal identification or profiling. Where a particular feature requires a photo to be transmitted to our servers or a service provider in order to provide the requested functionality, such processing is limited to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Data Security We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through Photo Studio against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. When photos are transmitted to our servers for AI-powered processing, we use appropriate security measures designed to protect the photos during transmission and processing. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Data Retention We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Photos submitted for AI-powered processing are processed for the purpose of providing the requested feature and are not retained longer than necessary for that purpose, except where temporary or limited retention is technically necessary for security, troubleshooting, service operation, or other legitimate operational purposes. We do not retain photos for the purpose of building, maintaining, or improving AI training datasets. Children We do not use the application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time. Opt-Out Rights You can stop all collection of information by the application easily by uninstalling the application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. When applicable, you may at any time opt out from further allowing us to have access to your location data by turning off GPS and location tracking in your device settings. You can also choose not to use features that require your photos to be transmitted to our servers for processing. Changes This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason.
